Midwest Fiber & Folk Art Festival
Monday, July 21st, 2008This weekend was the Midwest Fiber & Folk Art Festival in Crystal Lake, IL. It was so much fun–I took classes in spinning wool on a spinning wheel and spinning cotton on a tiny hand spindle. I also had a crocheted purse in the exhibit which in which the purses were supposed to be riffs on a vintage handbag pattern. Here’s my contribution to the exhibit, “Neon Pyramid”:
